Reporting to the COO, the Sales and Marketing Director for Canada is a key leadership position responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and achieve organizational objectives. This role involves overseeing the sales and marketing teams, guiding product positioning, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Develop, implement, and manage strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with overall business goals.
  • Provide direction to Executives on stock engine program and package inventory requirements.
  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to the sales and marketing team.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Set sales targets and ensure they are met or exceeded.
  • Implement effective sales strategies, including pricing, product positioning, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Approve digital marketing initiatives, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Gather customer feedback and market insights to enhance products and services.
  • Develop and manage budgets for sales and marketing activities.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget, adjusting as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments and divisions to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Work closely with the executive team to align sales and marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales and marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Utilize data analytics to measure ROI on marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and potential threats.

Education, Skills and Experience

Your education and experience include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or other related programs strongly preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience in a progressive sales/ engineering/ technical/ estimating position with 5+ years’ experience in a management position
  • SalesForce or equivalent CRM tools
  • Experience selling to NOCs, IOCs and EPCs
  • Experience in high value project sales for capital equipment and services.
  • Experience in selling surface production facilities and services
  • Experience in implementing solution selling
  • Results Selling strategies
  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management
  • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
  • Superior written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Significant experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Proven ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
  • Strong public speaking, negotiation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent technical, analytical and communication skills.
