Reporting directly to the Manager, Project Management, this position is responsible to work in conjunction with the Project Scheduling, Production Planning, Shop, Warehouse and Purchasing teams to facilitate the maintenance of production orders and management of material in all phases of the supply chain.
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Review material status to support shop dates and work with the cross functional teams to mitigate any identified risks in support of business goals
- Work closely with QC, Warehouse and Purchasing to facilitate the receipt/delivery of materials, material substitutions, returns and scrap.
- Monitor for engineering changes that result in changes to the Bills Of Materials (BOMs) and make any necessary adjustments to the production orders.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams in a cooperative and supportive manner
- Identify and participate in continuous improvement opportunities/activities
Education, Skills and Experience
Your education and experience include:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years experience in a manufacturing setting utilizing MRP tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Commitment to quality, accuracy, and thoroughness
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Experienced with Navitas ERP
Physical Strain
Include an intro to physical strain
- Standard requirements. Bending, squatting, climbing, stooping, twisting and reaching will all be required occasionally in this position
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Lifting 10 pounds maximum with occasional lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds
- May be required to work at heights of up to 25 feet
- Must meet all OSHA regulations and must wear all required PPE when in the shop environment.
