Dehydrator Tail Gas Compressor

Northern Alberta
Objective:
The customers dehydrator tail gas vapours exceeded the site H2S limits. Compression was required to dispose of vapour via injection @ 500 psig
Design Challenges:
Acid gas composition 60% H2S, 30% CO², 10% H20
Compass Solution:
Compass constructed a custom 3-stage, electric drive, acid gas VRU compression package. Due to the H2S and CO² levels we incorporated our acid gas injection standards which includes full stainless steel process construction.

Air-X 36VI induced draft cooler assembly (316L SS sections)
Control Panel:
Allen Bradley – Compact Logix PLC control assembly

Full stainless steel weld package (vessels, piping, vales and instrumentation)
